Key Lime Pie: Here’s What We Want to See

People love Android for its openness and extensive feature set. Not to mention the fact that consumers have an endless amount of choices—Galaxy Note II, Nexus 4, HTC One, the list goes on—from which to choose from. But while the OS has quickly become one of the most popular on the market, there are still features we’d like to see added when Key Lime Pie hits later this year. Google I/O is coming up fast, so we made a video talking about how we’d update and refine the mobile experience.

The video isn’t rumor driven; we simply used our brains to come up with ideas, free if Google wants them. Features such as scrolling notifications, SMS integration across multiple devices, complete Android backups, pure Android as a choice, actionable NFC and more.

We’ve heard some murmurs about how Google might improve KLP, particularly in terms of messaging. Can this year’s reveal be as big as last year’s? Jelly Bean has been a huge release for Google, and we expect that same level of quality this year, too. We know the company is capable of molding Android into an amazing OS, so hopefully Google has some features up its sleeve that’ll really wow us once KLP is announced (hopefully) in May.
